Homage to Renault Cinq/Lancia Delta with Jimny

DAMD, well-known for customizing the Suzuki Jimny and Jimny Sierra, has created a variety of styles based on the New Retro concept. DAMD has produced a custom car based on the Jimny Sierra, with a front face that looks like the famous Lancia Delta and Renault 5 (Cinq) Turbo cars of yesteryear. The highlight of this kit car is the wheels.

A superb reproduction of a famous car

The ‘Little Delta’ and ‘Little Cinq’ were given the name ‘Little Delta’ and ‘Little Cinq’, respectively, based on the famous cars of yesteryear that were once reigning rally champions, have proven their high potential in production cars and have made us all yearn for more.

The basic components of these two vehicles, which look completely different, are the same. The front and rear bumpers and wings are common parts, and by changing some parts such as the headlights, grille, and rear wing, it is possible to change the look to either Lancia Delta or Renault 5 (Cinq) Turbo, which is an impressive customization feat.

Two stylish and exciting cars

The Little Cinq is based on the hot hatch known as the ‘French Monster’, and its square styling is attractive, and the combination of square headlights and halogen bulbs gives it a classic look that cannot be overlooked. The distinctive turbo logo also appears on the side of the body, but with the added playfulness of the DAMD, a ‘NON TURBO’ sticker is applied to indicate that it is a non-turbo Jimny Sierra-based model, playing with cool puns.

The Little Delta, on the other hand, features round four-light headlights and the split right and left grille that was the symbol of Lancia at the time. The subtle blinker setup and the red body with a central stripe are also noteworthy. With this specification, the white body and Martini racing stripes may also be possible, which is a slightly exciting finishing touch.
