The 5-inch lift-up kit for the JB74 was unveiled at the 2023 OAM, and even then the 5-inch lift-up was a surprise, but even a year later, vehicles with a 5-inch ride height increase are rarely seen.
That’s no wonder, as simply replacing the coils would cause problems in various areas if the suspension was repositioned for a 5-inch increase. For this reason, the kit contains not only the lift-up coil, but also many other parts such as lateral rods, brackets to change the arm mounting position, propeller shaft extension spacers, stabilizer relocation brackets, and so on. Conversely, the kit has firmly optimized the geometry of each part so that it can be driven normally on-road.
The exterior has been given a much wilder appearance with the replacement of the front and rear bumpers
Let’s continue with a look at the exterior of the Jimny Sierra. The front, with its simple grille, is fitted with a steel bumper made of pipes with a skid plate attached to the bottom, while the rear has a double-tube bumper with pipes above and below, and side trail bars on the door sills. Incidentally, the spare tire and rear wiper at the rear have been removed, but a game controller is mounted on the rear wiper section. It is a system that shakes when switched on.
