Selected Jimny Sierra for its visual appeal

Ms. “KOTO” switched from a Daihatsu Copen to a 2023 Suzuki Jimny Sierra. After much deliberation about the economics of choice between the “Jimny” kei-car and the “Jimny Sierra” passenger car, she chose the Jimny Sierra as her beloved car, focusing on its visual appeal. Here is a car full of originality with customization in progress.

White-letter open country A/T has been installed since delivery

“I was torn between a Jimny or a Jimny Sierra until the end of my purchase. After much deliberation, I concluded that it would look cooler with wide fenders. I wanted to match the white body color with a regular passenger car’s white license plate, so I chose the Jimny Sierra for the visual aspect.”

“Because I was switching from a low-height Daihatsu Copenhagen, I felt like I was driving a truck at first. It took some time to get used to it, but it is a car that I wanted to drive, so driving it is fun. Every day I think how cute it is when I get in and out of the car.”

Ms. “KOTO”‘s Jimny Sierra took one year and four months to be delivered, but during that time, she had meetings with the dealership and the vehicle came to her with body-color door mirror covers, diesel wheels, and Toyo Tires’ Open Country A/T tires installed.

After delivery, the interior was fitted with drink holders and armrests for ease of use. On the exterior, they are enjoying the customization by installing a spare tire cover with a lettering of Jimny in Japanese, a red-colored mud flap, and a rear ladder. By the way, why did she choose an open country A/T without ever experiencing normal tires?

“This is also appearance-oriented, but I wanted to go with white lettering. I also liked the big, burly look, which is typical of a 4WD vehicle.”

Lots of customization she still wants to do

Ms. “KOTO” is customizing her Jimny Sierra with an emphasis on looks and usability. We wonder if she has any more customization plans in the future.

“I want Retroactive gauges and air conditioner dial covers. For the interior, I am wondering whether to install seat covers or change to Recaros. For the exterior, I want to change the front bumper, but I am considering it because it will not be a cheap purchase. I thought about a roof carrier when I added the rear ladder, but it looks like it would be a hassle when washing the car, so I’m a little worried about ……. Overall, I want to keep it cute but also rugged.”
