The main feature of the ATRAI WILDRANGER is its exterior design, which has a wild atmosphere that can be used in times of disaster. The lower part of the body is painted matte, and cladding panels have been added to minimize scratches on the body surface even when driving on rough terrain.

In addition, Toyo Tires’ Open Country R/T tires were installed underfoot, and the 4WD model was raised 1 inch to achieve a high level of driving performance. It also has the advantage of being a compact, Kei Car with a small turning circle, allowing it to be actively driven anywhere.

The most distinctive feature of this vehicle is its roof. At first glance, it looks like it has been converted to a high roof, but this roof is a boat. The boat can be easily taken down by loosening the clamps on both sides.

The bar lights are also boat lights. The switch and power supply are located inside the boat, so they can be turned on when the boat is in use.

The interior is designed for solo camping. The passenger seat can be removed to create a large space of over 2 meters inside the vehicle. The doors and rear window are replaced with panels, and a ventilation fan is placed in the left rear panel. It is safe to cook with a fire inside the car.

The front seat covers act as life jackets. For boating, the covers can be removed to wear.

On the side of the body, the letters “06” are embossed, meaning the sixth generation Atrai. According to Keita Hasumoto, who was in charge of the design, it is also a tribute to the mobile suit “MS-06” or Zaku II, which appeared in “Mobile Suit Gundam”. The dark green body color is also a nod to that.
