Bosozoku style spreads around the world
The Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 was again full of hottest custom cars in 2023. Among them, one brand that attracted the most attention was Liberty Walk, which has always surprised us and created a buzz in the customized car world.

At the Liberty Walk booth, there were more than 10 flashy super-custom cars on display. The most attractive example was LB-WORKS F40, based on the Ferrari F40, which can be expected to cost over 300 million JPY (2.4 million USD).

The origin of coolness that I insist on is inspired by the Bosozoku (motorcycle gang in Japanese) style of the 70s and 80s. The reason why I replaced that style with a supercar is the crystal clear, realize the most ‘coolness’ other hand I offer young people the standard of new coolness. I expect them to create new standards in their sense. So I decided to build a supercar custom with Works Fender, which is bolted-on style. It is a fusion concept of a favorite supercar and Bosozoku culture. This is the way of my approach to making more car lovers and custom lovers too.
Bosozoku style has already one of the arts of custom. The bolted-on fender is the specialty of its cool style. This is not only the standard style of Liberty Walk, but also the message from Kato,
Based on the LB-Silhouette WORKS style
LB-WORKS Ferrari F40 unveiled at Tokyo Auto Salon 2023, is undoubtedly the culmination of past efforts, including the selection of a stunning base vehicle.
F40 is very special for everyone and, of course, the favorite for Kato. Now is the time dreams come true to make the Bosozoku style custom with Ferrari.
The product Liberty Walks prepared several super-body kits. There are LB-Silhouette WORKS styles for the Lamborghini Huracan and Ferrari 458. This time F40 version is based on this to keep the original form as much as possible but arranged emotionally more impact.
LB-Silhouette WORKS was inspired by Bosozoku gangs culture, but basically from motorsport. The Japanese category of racing regulation, Super Silhouette or Silhouette Formula beginning of the 80s the ohmage of new customized trends.
