The wheel named “Yoshimura WRS Seven (Double RRS Seven)” exhibited this time is not for sports cars, but a 14-inch size that is mainly targeted at kei-trucks.
It is not uncommon for motorbike users to load their bikes onto the back of light trucks and transport them to the circuit, and the affinity between Yoshimura users and light trucks is actually very high.
A Suzuki “Carry” equipped with these wheels was on display at the event, and this is also because Yoshimura has a long history of racing Suzuki motorbikes. The design of these wheels was also inspired by the Suzuki GSX-R1000R, which raced in the FIM World Endurance Championship (EWC).
Weighing down to 4.6 kg per wheel
Of course, Weds’ technology has been lavishly invested in the production of the wheels, and the Advanced Metal Forming (AMF) manufacturing process has achieved weight reduction while maintaining design freedom. Furthermore, by cutting the sides of the spokes and other parts that do not affect strength, further weight reduction is achieved, resulting in a light weight of 4.6kg per wheel.
The center caps are also decorated with the Yoshimura logo, and the Yoshimura red coloring and logos on the rims are painted on instead of stickers.
