Customization to increase the volume of the body
Mr. Maeda, a Suzuki ‘Swift’ owner, was interviewed at an offline meeting for 4-hole wheels. The Swift Sport, a popular base vehicle for customization, has 5-hole wheels, but Mr. Maeda was not initially interested in customization and bought a Swift with 4-hole wheels to use as his everyday footwear.
However, after hearing about customization from a Swift owner he met at Autobacs, his interest was piqued. He then started tweaking various parts such as the muffler, suspension, and wheels, and after a series of specification changes such as a ‘Ita-sha (痛車)’ car and a sporty car, he arrived at this style. The body is a Toyota C-HR painted in Radiant Green Metallic. The bright green coloring is eye-catching. The roof is black and two-tone, giving it a fresh look that emphasizes the green even more.
Although based on the family car Swift, a KUHL front spoiler and grille have been fitted to strengthen the sense of speed around the face. Furthermore, the glamorous body is built up with over wings, which cannot be overlooked. The seventh set of WORK Seeker MX wheels were chosen. The 17-inch limit size was selected, which is the size of the 17-inch wheels in the line-up for the installation of over-fenders. The over-fenders fitted to match the wheel size are of a general-purpose type.

Other exterior points of interest include the origin side steps with the rear part sprung up. Although it is a general-purpose type, it is slightly protruding and matches the wide body with over-fenders well. The front end has been replaced with projector-type SONAR headlights. The four left and right tails peeking out from the cool rear half-spoiler are made from ø60mm pipes bought from a home center and welded to the stock muffler.
The suspension is a four-wheel independent type air suspension, original with 326power shocks and ROAM AIR airbags. These were purchased online and finished as a DIY project.
The interior upholstery was given the original smoothing treatment. All speakers have been replaced with Rockfords for a pleasant sound. Additional gauges located around the cockpit include voltage, vacuum, water temperature, oil pressure, and oil temperature gauges.
