Three LB Silhouette Works cars were released
The car shop Liberty Walk is famous for creating unusual supercars with customizations that no one would ever think of. At last year’s Osaka Auto Messe 2023, three LB Silhouette Works-style cars were on display and were a big hit.
Respect for the Silhouette formula
The “LB Silhouette Works Style” is a special version that escalates the modifications and is very different from the Lamborghini “Aventador” model with over-fenders, which is one of Liberty Walk’s representative works.
The style’s origin is in motorsport and the car was produced in respect of the Silhouette Formula, which started in 1976, with wide fenders and tires.
Fashion-conscious international celebrities fell in love with the shocking LB Silhouette Works styling. Famous musician Justin Bieber even had his own Ferrari 458 built to Liberty Walk specifications. American singer Chris Brown also ordered an LB Works specification car.
Liberty Walk, led by CEO Wataru Kato, has attracted car enthusiasts from all over the U.S. and foreign celebrities as Japan’s proud custom builder.
Same body kit as Justin Bieber’s car
The Ferrari 458 presented here is a model with the same body kit as Justin Bieber’s favorite car. Its official name is the LB Silhouette Works Ferrari 458GT. If I remember correctly, the 2022 model came in a full dry carbon version. This is not just a dry carbon car, but one that challenges a working process that is impossible with normal paints and coatings to bring out a special dry feel.
It was completed by spraying 15 coats of clear, 12 coats of anti-stone tip damage, and finally matte clear. This process was much talked about, as a total of 31 layers of paint and coating were repeatedly applied to the dry carbon surface alone.
The LB Silhouette Works Ferrari 458GT on display was finished as an all-black machine. While the dry carbon spec car looked amazing, this glossy black 458GT looked suspiciously different and cool. The beauty of the style was evident from every angle.
Liberty Walk’s machines are customized by the best people with the best skills, using the best base cars available. The machines look good, of course, but more than that, they boldly take on the challenge of doing something out of the ordinary in the production process. This kind of out-of-the-box, rule-breaking customization is probably why they are so popular with celebrities all over the world.
