A cooler expression of a light car in a wilder style

Mr. “Yashi” is well-known for his S200P Daihatsu Heizet Jumbo, a custom light truck. The customization of this light truck is flashy, but he applied for structural modification and obtained official approval. Even though the Heizet Jumbo is equipped with blister fenders that have been modified to look like a crazy vehicle, he has made it a street-use vehicle with the policy of “riding it as a legal vehicle.

All the customization we wanted to do

“Yashi”‘s Daihatsu “Hyzet Jumbo” was all-penned in GT British Green Limited, an original body color. The exterior of the car was built with the basic premise of installing overfenders. The author has interviewed him several times in the past, and he told us that he was a big fan of blister fenders.

When I look back at the vehicles I have interviewed in the past, I recall that all of them, including the Suzuki DA63T “Carryy”, were equipped with wide fenders. All of these models were characterized by bold fender shapes, and among these past models, the fenders on the Heizet Jumbo introduced here are the most boldly shaped. The fenders are the boldest of all the models in the series, and the customization that “Yashi” wanted to do was thoroughly executed, including the other one-off parts.

The theme was to express a light car in a cool and wild style. To achieve this, the over fenders, which are the most prominent part, are combined with huge ducts on the side panels to show off the car. Blister over fenders that emphasize the spread along the arch were devised and set. At first glance, all of the exterior parts seem to be one-off body parts, but the front and rear bumpers are based on K-BREAK aero parts and were modified and installed.

The team’s logo is on the back portion of the rear cabin

The design emphasizes a sense of width by creating ducts in each section, creating a speedy form with a powerful style. Its appearance could be described as that of a racing truck.

The rear area has been smoothed out.

The rear area is impressive, with a back panel set in a smoothing process that enhances the sense of unity with the cabin. The cargo bed is mounted with a huge aero trim cover, and a flip-up wing is interestingly set at the end.

The back portion of the rear cabin is a special panel made of FRP, to which a sticker of “Yashi’s team,” the “KING FAMILY,” has been attached. This team is famous for its members who all drive high-level custom light trucks. The team is also known as a team that enjoys adult customization to officially approved specifications.

The interior is all orange

In addition to the overfenders, parts such as headlights, tail lamps, and back fog lights have been drastically changed, including the contents, with only the front headlights of the stock shape having any resemblance to the Hyzet Jumbo. The tail lamps were diverted from another vehicle model and modified and installed.

While emphasizing the press lines throughout the body, some parts were smoothed to enhance the sense of unity of the aero parts. The interior was customized in his favorite color, orange, and there was nothing more that could be done to it.

He is now very satisfied with the car as it is, as he has thoroughly done everything, including the audio system. There is nothing more he would like to do at this point. This car is truly the culmination of a custom light truck enthusiast’s work.
