KUHL produces an off-road car! Aero parts for Mitsubishi Triton are now available
We checked out a vehicle of interest at the Hokuriku Custom Car Show held on July 27-28, 2024. This time, we will introduce a new aero that has just been released by KUHL (KUHL), famous for its aero parts, to enhance the Mitsubishi “Triton” image.
The aero for the Triton, which has just made its debut, was unveiled at the Hokuriku Custom Car Show
Among the many KUHL demo cars on display at the Hokuriku Custom Car Show, the KRUISE KR-TRTRR aero for the Mitsubishi Triton, newly released under the KRUISE brand, was the center of attention. Although there have been reports of the KRUISE KR-TRTRR in parts, this Hokuriku Custom Car Show was the first time a complete vehicle was unveiled.
These aero parts were developed for the Triton “GSR,” and consist of a front and rear diffuser that are additionally installed under the body. This is the basic set. The front diffuser is distinctive with its chin spoiler shape, but it has a compact design that does not sacrifice much road clearance. The KRUISE KR-TRTRR is also available as a complete car for 585,000 yen (tax included).
Parts are still under development and will be released one after another in the future
An additional optional part installed this time was a roof window wing that is additionally installed on top of the styling bar installed on the rear of the cabin. Incidentally, since the styling bar is exclusive to the GSR, it is likely, that the wing is also exclusive to the GSR.
The wing installed is a prototype, and a rear gate wing to be installed on the rear gate and a rear diffuser of a different shape are also under development in the future. More parts for the Triton will be released in the future.
By the way, the vehicle on display has black painted-over fenders and styling bars, which are equipment only available on the GSR, so they are a nice accent to the white body.
The VERZ wheels are designed to suit both lowered and lifted vehicles
KRUISE’s aero parts for the Triton are designed to be compatible not only with lowering but also with lifting, and the demo car was displayed with the stock ride height. The demo car was displayed with the stock height. It is true that the lowered parts would look great with a sports truck-style customization. On the other hand, the design does not get in the way even if the vehicle is lifted.
The wheels were designed by VERISERVE.
The wheels are the company’s VERZ-KROSS X6 (VERZ-KROSS Cross Six), 18-inch wheels were chosen. The tires are DUNLOP GRAND TREK AT5. The design of the wheels looks good with wild muddy tires, or on the contrary, with street tires. Incidentally, the spokes are brown, but the wheels are available in a total of eight different colors, so they will look good even when coordinated with the body color.
