Changed from circuit specs to wide and low orientation

“Haachan” purchased her 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STI seven years ago when she switched from a Suzuki Swift. At the time of purchase, the Impreza was a serious track machine, as she used to drive it on the circuit, but she changed to the current wide and low style when she got bored of the circuit.

“First of all, I wanted to put on deep rims, so I decided to build over wings and modify them. I knew that WORK could do a lot of fine-tuning on the wheels, so I asked the shop to do the work on the tire size, suspension, and other parts that I could.”

Customization of the body and suspension

“Haachan”‘s customization of his Impreza includes: mature over wings, VARIS front and rear bumpers and bonnet, VOLTEX GT wing, VALENTI tail lights, and a Webasto retrofit sunroof. Sunroof. The suspension is a WORK MEISTER M1 18-inch (F10.5J/R11J) with HKS dampers, HKS air cleaner for the intake system, Tomei Powered 2-pipe muffler (modified), BRIDE full buckets, DND steering wheel, various carbon parts and more.

The aforementioned wheels have been adjusted in wheel size without using spacers, and the tires have also been pulled considerably, showing more attention to detail than meets the eye.

“I had this last car for seven years and I didn’t like driving it that much. Since I got this one, I’ve started going out driving by myself like an idiot. It’s fun and I don’t get tired when I’m driving, but it’s fast when I step on it. Also, the color stands out, so there’s the pleasure of being seen. People in other cars look at me and point at me from the pavement…”

Stick to one-off parts!

Haachan is said to be very particular about the specifications of each part, and even the staff at the shop say that he is too particular. She also seems to have a strong customization orientation, with one-off carbon parts set into various parts, but we wonder how she will tweak it in the future.

“I’m on dampers at the moment and I’d like to lower them more, but this is the limit of what I’m willing to drive. That’s why I want to put in air suspension. Let’s go for a landing! I’m like, ‘Let’s go for a landing! Then there are the headlights. I’m thinking of modifying and installing Lexus headlights. A lot of Impreza’s external headlights are U-shaped. I don’t want to be the same as everyone else. The only way to win was to do a one-off.”
