Mr. Sato’s Toyota “86” has been four years since he purchased it. He first encountered the car when he was living in Hokkaido for work reasons, but he fell in love with the style and did not care about the amount of snow or the fact that it was an RWD vehicle. The sleek silhouette, which anyone would recognize as a sports car at first glance, the large number of tuning parts, and the fun-to-drive characteristics also helped him make the decision.
The first custom part was the triple gauges embedded in the dashboard, which the driver was very pleased with as they are highly visible from the driver’s seat and dress up the car. Next, they proceeded to replace the wheels and chose WORK Meister S1R pieces. Both front and rear are 9.0J x 18 inset 38 with shiny silver discs and buff anodized rims that match the body color perfectly. It should also be noted that titanium-colored lightweight wheel nuts add even more color to the center portion of the wheels.

He is satisfied with the current setup, saying, “I’ve packed in only the things I love,” but he would like to further tune the power system in the future.
An easy option would be to keep the stock engine and rewrite the ECU, or go all out and install a bolt-on turbo.
