On the day of the event, about 50 old and new European Fords gathered, one of which was Mr. “hironyaN”‘s beloved Ford Focus RS.
“This Focus RS is a 2010 model; I got it new in 2012. These days I participate in a lot of events and don’t go to as many track days as I used to. The mileage is now about 53,300 km.”
Mr. #hironyaN”, the owner, is one of the oldest members of the organizing committee who has been involved in the management of the European Ford Meeting for a long time, although he has now been taken over by someone younger than himself. His favorite machine is this one, which has a strong European sport Ford pedigree.
Highly acclaimed for its superb handling and excellent packaging, successive generations of the Focus have been very active in the world of motorsports with their high-performance versions taking advantage of their basic performance qualities. It is precise because Mr. “hironyaN” had driven many sports cars before arriving at this car, including the Suzuki Alto Works, the S13 Nissan Silvia, and the R32 Skyline GT-R, that he was captivated by the Focus RS’s serious sportiness.
