WARLOCK body kit to make the Delica D:5 even wilder and more attractive
A record 660 customized cars gathered at the Osaka Auto Messe (OAM) 2024, held at Intex Osaka from 10-12 February 2024. This time we focused on the Mitsubishi Delica D:5 demo car on display at the Weed booth.
Even in stock form, the stern Delica has an even more powerful front face
Weed is a special shop known for handling a large number of Toyota Hilux Surfs, but recently it has also been focusing on various SUVs. One of the most famous of these is WARLOCK, which has released completely customized Delica D:5 and Hilux models. The Delica D:5 exhibited at OAM this time is also a complete car fitted with such a Warlock body kit.
What makes the WARLOCK the most distinctive in terms of appearance is its front mask. The front of the Delica D:5, which even by itself has a strong impact, is made to look even more severe. The grille has an octagonal design with a large ‘D:5’ logo and three daylight on the top of the grille for a unique atmosphere. In addition, front and rear bumper garnishes and garnishes covering the wing arches in large sizes are fitted.
In addition to this Warlock specification, the demo car on display was fitted with Auto Flags GOQBUTO R III bumper guards, JAOS side steps, JAOS rear ladder, MKW mud flaps, and MADLYS headlight protectors. The wild atmosphere is further doubled.
Surprisingly, the suspension is said to be stock, with the company’s KANONE wheels fitted with BF Goodrich all-terrain 235/70R16 size wheels, which are one size larger than the stock wheels.
A bed kit with a technique that makes it easy to take out the bed from the back
Although it is easy to focus only on the exterior, this Delica was packed with a variety of outdoor-oriented equipment to match the powerful Warlock specification. When the rear gate was opened, a bed kit with two separate upper and lower bunks was installed at the rear of the second seat. This is an excellent feature, as the entire lower section slides out, making it easy to remove luggage that has been packed in the back. Furthermore, when the luggage is lowered, this sliding board can be used as a table that extends to the rear of the vehicle.
The upper section is placed on top when luggage is loaded, and at night it can be placed at the same height as the second seat, which is folded down, to create a flat bed. Incidentally, this bed kit requires the removal of the third seat, but it should be of interest to Delica D:5 users who mainly use the vehicle for less than five people and go camping frequently.
